Palestinians March and Rally in Dearborn on Nakba Day

On the 74th anniversary of the Palestine al-Nakba, the catastrophe, hundreds of people rallied and marched in Dearborn, Michigan, a suburb right outside the city of Detroit.

Various organizations spoke during the events from various political and cultural organizations.

There was a major focus on the recent killing by Israeli troops of Palestinian American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh in Jenin on May 11.

The journalist had worked for years covering the events related to the Israeli occupation and repression against the people inside the country.

Demonstrations were held to commemorate “Nakba 74” across the United States and the world.
