ABOLITION JIGSAW

as a kid
jigsaw puzzles
were daunting
and boring
and scared me

all that time spent
on assembling
seemingly disconnected pieces –
how could they ever form
a whole ?

all these shards of experience –
how could they meaningfully fit together ?

all these cardboard details
what did they matter
if it was to end up with
a mediocre landscape ?

and what if
a few of those pieces
got lost ?

but then
today
i realize
that if Abolition
is the finished scene
of our final reconstitution
then i am
only one
human jigsaw piece
interconnecting
and
liaising
with all the other
comrades
of interlocking vision

THE HOMELESS DEAD

for the homeless dead, may they rest in power in our memory

yesterday
was Earthday
and worldwide
we honored our assaulted Mother
with sacred rites

yesterday
was Earthday
and the media
that serves the corporations
that deplete the Earth
sent viral photos
of Gaza C-sectioned
giving birth
to mass graves

yesterday
was Earthday
and the bleeding mud
where the tortured
executed
and plasticized
bodies of
the daughters and sons of Palestine
were exhumed
revealed
an inhuman double bind

not only
do the zionists helped by the US of A
commit genocide
to steal an ancient land –
that soil is at the same time
declared
terra non grata
for the native burial
of the thousands killed
now ancestors
roaming the ruins
of their home

there is a new class
called
the homeless dead

Apartheid
still reigns underground

little do the body snatchers know
that the only graves that matter
lie in
a resilience
we will protect with our lives
and where
they will never go –
the Amazon and Weelaunee forests
of our mind

MUCH MORE THAN GENOCIDE

wants
to exclude
such terms as
Palestine
and genocide ?

i suggest
the term Palestine
belongs
to those who fight
to keep it alive

i suggest
that paradoxically
we exclude the term
genocide
but only on one condition
that the freedom fighters
on the ground
find
a term
both forensic
ancestral and legal
to express
how exponentially worse it is

in 1942
the Wannsee conference planned
the sordid details
of the final extermination
but it was behind closed doors
in an obscure suburb
of Berlin
and with a will
to hide
the nazi intent
from the world

brazenly
today the IOF
and the zionists with
the complicit US of A
flaunt
the sick delight
of their demented objective

nor did
Hitler’s master race
present itself
as the victims
the zionists claim to be
today

today
in Palestine
there is a genocide
but also on an unprecedented scale –
an ecocide,
a sociocide,
an epistemicide
and the ancestor-cide of the mass graves –
so since the unspeakable
has not yet been named,
the People of Palestine
are the only ones
who have the right to find
the true historical word
to say it
