A demonstration initiated by Doctors Against Genocide took place on December 28, 2024 in mid-town Detroit to demand an end to the continuing genocide against Palestinians and the killing of doctors in Gaza by the zionist entity. The U.S. for-profit healthcare system was also denounced for putting Wall Street profits before the needs of patients. A rally took place at Virginia Park followed by a spirited march to Henry Ford Hospital where speakers called upon doctors and healthcare workers and allies to support these demands.
