Fight for $15 Workers Stage One Day Strike

These photographs were taken on Friday. March 6, 2020 in Detroit as workers gathered as part of a nationwide Fight for $15 strike around the United States.

Workers are demanding a $15 an hour minimum wage along with union representation and they made this clear outside a McDonald’s restaurant on East Eight Mile Road and Conant Avenue.

Members of the Moratorium NOW! Coalition sent a solidarity delegation in support of the workers who are a part of a movement of millions seeking a living wage in the present period.
