From Gaza to Minab – a poem for the one hundred and sixty-five children mass buried in Iran

The U.S. used Anthropic’s Claude to support Operation Epic Fury against Iran yesterday, sources familiar with the Pentagon’s operations tell Axios.

Why it matters: The military’s use of Claude to capture Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro in January ignited the showdown between Anthropic and the Pentagon. Late Friday, the Pentagon said Anthropic will be designated a supply-chain risk. Anthropic vowed to fight in court.

they are poor
so they dig the graves
themselves

the gravediggers
are the parents
with their daughters’ blood
still on their clothes

the dead
are little girls
shredded
leaving behind pastel school bags
and unfulfilled dreams
one hundred and sixty five of them
whose last words
are unforgettable screams

an Iranian scholar
shakes his head
as he comments
that it is the Epstein class
that either rapes childhood
or bombs children
in the belly of the beast
and across the waters

across borders
from Caracas to Ouagadougou
from Minneapolis to Tehran
from Gaza to Minab
the only illegal immigration
worthy of the name
is
the thoughtlessness
of human-free AI bombs
and
the evil
of the billionaires’ havens

so would the real banality
be
the choice of inaction?

When the body becomes a voice – a poem in tribute to Brian McGinnis

when the body becomes
a voice

when the protesting body
speaks up

when all the shouts
of the attackers
are drowned out
by a loud crack

when that crack
is an arm heard to be
breaking

when the arm breaks
rather than be forced
through the door
of a warmongering Senate floor

when the voice
of an arm breaking
is not lost
in translation
as it shouts
crack by crack
virally
around the world

when that breaking
but loud voice
reaches
Palestine
and
Iran …

A War of Deletion

no wonder
the Pentagon
was in a hurry
to bully Anthropic
into using AI model Claude
for human-free bombing
and mass surveillance

no wonder

because the plan
to attack Iran
was already on the front burner
and Claude was needed
for the same precision targeting
that enabled Maduro’s kidnapping

no wonder
the Pentagon hijacked Claude
and
programmed this fatherless Frankenstein
to bomb
a little girls’ school
in a massacre
not seen
since Vietnam’s My Lai

no wonder

because
the Epstein class
shreds little girls
in Gaza, the West Bank
and Iran
while
at home
it deletes the files
revealing how other little girls
have died

This Horror Humbles Me

to all the men, women and children being massacred in the darkness – in Gaza, the West Bank, Iran and Lebanon – by the sharpened claws of US and Israeli AI rogue weaponry

to Brian McGinnis

this horror
cannot defeat me
but
it humbles me

if i look away
will i become
part of it?

if i try to capture it
will it
turn me into stone?

if i turn my poem
into a horror catcher
will the darkness
bleed into my eye?

if i look too long
down the abyss
will i go blind?

how long can I keep
my eyes on the horror
the better
to sing the prize
of Love?

can i turn my poetry
into the reverberating
unspeakable sound
of a protesting arm
cracking
for all to hear?

can i turn my poetry
into the bones of words
breaking
breaking
on the shores of a deaf world?
